The tapering program combines a neurobiology-based approach with holistic, non-medication support—personally delivered by a neuroscientist with lived experience in psychiatric drug withdrawal and recovery.
You're not alone in this. With regular appointments and ongoing messaging, I’ll guide you through every stage – from managing withdrawal symptoms to navigating your taper.
Unlock your brain’s natural healing potential with a personalized recovery plan that focuses on non-drug methods like ketosis, BDNF stimulation, neurogenesis, and microbiome balance—guided by expert support every step of the way.
Personalized, evidence-based tapering plan that fits medication history, health condition, and life situation.
The main goal of my work is to restore impaired homeostasis and correct autonomic dysregulation caused by the use of psychiatric medications.

Hyperbolic Tapering Plans and Protracted Withdrawal Support
About My Practice
Hyperbolic tapering is grounded in the observation that as the dose of an antidepressant increases, its impact on brain receptors also rises—though not in a linear way. At higher doses, each additional increase contributes progressively less effect, creating what’s known as a hyperbolic curve: steep at lower doses and gradually flattening as the dose gets higher.
Using this approach, dose reductions follow the shape of this curve, meaning that the decreases become smaller as the medication level drops. Because even very low amounts of the drug (such as 1–2 mg) can still produce significant effects, many individuals need to taper down to extremely small doses before discontinuing completely, so that the final step to zero doesn’t overwhelm the nervous system. Since such tiny doses are hard to achieve with standard tablets, compounded formulations often play a crucial role.
Protracted Withdrawal Syndrome is the result of autonomic changes in the nervous system, which is why a comprehensive approach is necessary to restore the body's homeostasis. The program includes gut-brain axis regulation, BDNF stimulation
Safely reducing or stopping antidepressants requires a structured and comprehensive process. Because it can be time-intensive and demands familiarity with the newest tapering strategies—many of which are still not commonly taught—it can be difficult for a single clinician to offer this level of support.
Throughout your tapering journey, I’ll be alongside you. I make it a priority to learn about your goals and circumstances so that I can create a personalized, evidence-informed plan for gradually discontinuing antidepressants. And if anything comes up between our sessions, you can reach out to me at any time through direct one-to-one messaging.

I create a flexible, medically supervised plan for gradually reducing your doses, tailored specifically to your needs. I use hyperbolic tapering method—where dose reductions get progressively smaller—to gently minimize nervous system disruption and withdrawal discomfort. I personalize each plan based on your responses, preferences, and what’s happening in your life, so the process is as safe and comfortable as possible for you.
